Sample Recipe - Spaghetti Carbonara

  1. Click the ‘Recipes’ icon at the top then click ‘+ New’.
  2. Enter the recipe name ‘Spaghetti Carbonara’.
  3. Click the ‘Ingredients and Allergens’ tab.
  4. Click in the ingredients box and start typing to find ingredients. Click on ingredients to add them to your recipe. For this recipe you need:
    • 350g vermicelli
    • 140g streaky bacon
    • 2 tsp olive oil
    • 5g garlic (1 clove, crushed)
    • 2 eggs (about 110g)
    • 50g parmesan, grated
  5. Remember to add the quantities and units as these are important for nutrition and costing.
  6. Click ‘Calculate’ to work out the nutritional values for the dish, which you can view per 100g or per serving.
  7. Click ‘Create’ to save your recipe.

Note: The ingredients in this guide are from the ‘Example Ingredients’ list. If you decide to create your own ingredients or use other ingredient lists in the system, there may be issues calculating nutrition as some nutrient values may not be complete.
